Itinerary

Day 1 Details -

Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi  

On arrival in Delhi our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you at the airport to pick you up and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Depending on your time of arrival on India Check in into Hotel and plan your remaining day

Day 2 Details -

Day 02 : Delhi City Tour (Old Delhi and New Delhi)

This morning after breakfast you will proceed for the Delhi sightseeing tour including Old Delhi and New Delhi. Walk through the main street of Old Delhi and Visit Old Jain Temple, Hindu Temple and Sikh Temple (Gurudwara) all located in the same line, signifying religious diversity and unity of India. Later drive past Jama Masjid and imposing Red Fort and pay visit to Raj Ghat-the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Continue to drive through the Parliament House, The President House and India Gate and visit the famous Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith and the tallest tower of India called Qutub Minar.

Day 3 Details -

03 Day: Delhi – Haridwar/Rishikesh (230 Kms, 6 hrs)

After Breakfast proceed to Rishikesh, known as the Yoga capital of the world explore. This small Himalayan town is located on the banks of the sacred river Ganges and is considered as an ideal place for indulging in spiritual activities like Yoga, Meditation, Ayurvedic treatments and exploring the nature. Rishikesh is a spiritual destination that’s steeped in yogic practices and healing, the enchanting city of Rishikesh offers the opportunity to live a life of bliss at its renowned ashrams. Here, you’ll have the chance to participate in morning and evening meditation/yoga sessions in an ashram or on the banks of the holy river.

In evening participate in Ganga Aarti (A group prayer of the Goddess Ganges by locals in a very ritualistic manner with chanting of mantras and music) at the river banks near Parmarth Ashram.

Day 4 Details -

04 Day: Rishikesh

After breakfast explore Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Geeta Ashram, Parmarth Ashram and various beautiful Ghats (River Banks), where people are taking bath and doing different rituals and spiritual practices.

Day 5 Details -

05 Day: Rishikesh – Vrindavan (370 kms, 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast prepare yourself for a long drive through beautiful countryside of India. On the way there will be few breaks for relaxation.

Day 6 Details -

06 Day: Vrindavan  

Vrindavan is the most sacred town for the devotees of Lord Shri Krishna, who is the most popular God of Hindus.It this town Krishna devotees from all over the world are living in a community. It is truly a global spiritual village having more than 5000 temples, Ashrams and sacred forests. Visit ISKCON Temple, Prem Mandir and take a circular walk around the Vrindavan to see sacred banks (Ghats) of Yamuna River and Temples, places built along the River. You can also visit a Goshala (Large cow shelter) and do welfare activities for Widows, Orphans, Leprosy House and different Ashrams doing different charitable activities.

Day 7 Details -

07 Day: Vrindavan to Agra (60 kms, 1 hr.)

After an early breakfast proceed to Agra, the city of Taj-Mahal, the most beautiful memorial even built by any King for his wife. After checking in into Hotel proceed to visit Red fort and Taj-Mahal. We recommend to see Taj-Mahal in the Evening (Sunset Time) or early morning (Sunrise Time) depending on your choice

Day 8 Details -

08 Day: Agra to Lucknow (335 kms, 5 hrs)

After a leisurely breakfast proceed to Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh (UP) state of India. In evening optional visit to markets and streets of Lucknow. It is an ideal place to have night halt to avoid a very long journey to Varanasi.

Day 9 Details -

09 Day: Lucknow to Varanasi (320 km – 5 hrs)

The city of Varanasi is the center of Hinduism and one of the most sacred destinations in India. Varanasi is a place where people from all walks of life come to wash away their sins in the holy river Ganges and seek salvation from their past lives dedicated to Ganges. This city is also known as ‘Kashi’, the city of light and knowledge.

After a leisurely breakfast proceed to Varanasi, which is the Spiritual capital of Hindus and is the abode of lord Shiva. This is one of the oldest surviving cities of the world and no one definitely knows it antiquity. After checking in into your Hotel, get ready for an evening visit to the banks of the Ganges to see different activities like cremation of bodies and a grand celebration.

Day 10 Details -

10 Day: Varanasi

Early morning (4:30 am) proceed to sacred river banks of the Ganges for a boat ride to go around different Ghats, where people do different rituals associated with Hindu life. After the morning tour proceed to Hotel for breakfast, wash and change and have some free time.

Later proceed to Sarnath (10 kms), which is the birth place of Buddhism. It is the place where Lord Buddha delivered the first sermon to five monks and later out of this first sermon a complete Philosophy of Buddhism emerged for the enlightenment of mankind.

Day 11 Details -

11 Day: Varanasi to Delhi by Train / Flight

Varanasi is well connected to most of the Indian cities and you can get further connections to destination of your choice.
